Experiencing the Petronas Twin Towers: A Must-Visit in Kuala Lumpur
As expats living in Kuala Lumpur, my husband and I have visited the iconic Petronas Twin Towers several times. Each visit leaves us in complete awe of their breathtaking beauty. For example, we love watching the gleaming steel facade transform from day to night. Consequently, we put together this complete guide to help you experience the Petronas Twin Towers!
Planning Your Visit
Booking Tickets and Transport
Reaching the Petronas Twin Towers is very convenient by LRT train or bus. For instance, you can take the LRT directly to the KLCC station and follow the exit signs.
Furthermore, ticket prices online often exceed RM 120. However, buying tickets directly at the official counter costs under RM 100 for expats. If you prefer to check official schedules or guidelines, visit the Petronas Twin Towers official portal.
Best Time to Visit
We strongly recommend booking the 7 PM tour slot. As a result, you get to witness spectacular skyline views during both daylight and nightfall!
“I love the scents of winter! For me, it’s all about the feeling you get when you smell pumpkin spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, gingerbread and spruce.”
What to Do at the Towers
Shopping at Suria KLCC
The tour begins at the iconic Skybridge on the 41st floor. You get about 20 minutes to take stunning photo shots across the city.
Next, staff guides you up to the 86th floor observation deck. The nighttime views of Kuala Lumpur’s glowing skyline are magnificent!
